About the Role
As a Legal Manager you will be responsible for preparing litigation strategy, handling recovery related cases and all service related litigations filed by customers against the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisory: Advisory on banking products and services (loans & advances, deposits and others) Advise on all aspects of corporate, banking and financial laws and practice, product development, strategy, policies and processes. Advise on corporate strategies.
- Critical Analysis: Critical analysis of applicable change in law and consequent risk assessment and impact thereof on bank’s businesses. Critically analyse legislative efforts and offer recommendations.
- Draft and Review Documents: Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of documents relating to various financial services offered to customers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education Qualification: LLB Degree (5 years Integrated Course – Preferably top National Law Universities) with 3 to 9 years in Banking/Law Firm/Practicing Lawyer.
- Understanding of Banking Principles: Conceptual clarity on basic banking principles and application thereof. Ability to advice on various facets of law.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
