An INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SENIOR ASSOCIATE at AK Mylsamy & Associates LLP is needed for a full-time on-site position.

Eligibility

• Professional lawyer holding a legal degree from an accredited university
• Strong familiarity with IP filings, especially with regard to trademarks, designs, and copyright; outstanding research and analytical abilities;
  Capacity to operate both individually and in a team successfully
• Strong aptitude for analysis and problem-solving
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Six years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in intellectual property (IP) concerns Prior legal firm experience is required.

Responsibilities

• In addition to conducting research, producing documents, engaging in negotiations, and defending clients in IP board and court
• Proceedings, the Senior Associate will be in charge of business development. In addition, managing portfolios, communicating with clients, and guaranteeing legal compliance will all be part of the job description. 
• Preparing notes, examining case files, and conducting research
• Giving legal counsel regarding IP protection and enforcement
• Composing legal notices, responses, and submissions to be sent to courts and IP boards
• Drafting, examining, and providing advice regarding intellectual property contracts
• Defending clients in court and IP board proceedings.
