This internship offers a chance to observe the inner workings of parliament and the research that goes into parliamentary interventions. Working on projects as an intern will help you develop critical research and communication skills that will undoubtedly benefit you later on. Upon successful completion of all assignments, chosen candidates will be awarded a certificate at the conclusion of their employment.
Eligibility
Strong research and writing abilities, the capacity to meet deadlines and collaborate with others, and a passion for public policy and governance are must for interested candidates.
We strongly encourage candidates from the Northeast to apply for this position.
Responsibilities
As a research intern, your duties will include creating policy briefings and reports, doing current event analysis, and helping with research for legislative interventions, such as speeches and questions.
Duration
The internship will begin in mid-January and conclude on the last day of this year’s parliamentary budget session.

Strict adherence to word limitations is required for the two extended response questions. Responses that are longer than the allotted word count will not be considered. After completing this application, shortlisted candidates will receive an email with instructions on what to do next.
