About the Internship
Law students have a great opportunity to obtain practical experience in both corporate law and litigation through this internship. Working directly with seasoned advocates, certified public accountants, and certified public accountants, interns will be exposed to a range of topics, including GST litigation, contract drafting, dispute resolution, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This is a rare opportunity to hone legal skills in a variety of practice areas and within a multidisciplinary team.
Eligibility
- A candidate having an LL.B. will be given preference.
- Last year candidates of LLB. candidates are preferred.
- Strong interest in litigation and corporate law.
- Strong research and communication abilities are required.
Responsibilities
- Helping with secretarial services and business compliance
- Contract drafting and negotiation
- Assisting with criminal and civil litigation
- Helping with matters pertaining to intellectual property law
- Participation in fraud cases, injunctions, and debt recovery
- Assisting with the dispute settlement and litigation procedures for GST
- Time spent preparing financial statements and helping with bookkeeping
