Internship in law at the High Court of Allahabad, Law students can apply to work as interns at the Prayagraj and Lucknow locations of the High Court of Judicature in Allahabad. The qualified candidates may be offered one non-remunerative internship, subject to permission, with a minimum four-week length.
Eligibility
- The candidate needs to be enrolled in a five-year law program approved by the Indian Bar Council.
- The applicant must be enrolled in a five-year law program and in either the fourth or fifth year.
- In the second or third year of their three-year legal education.
- Both the applicant’s academic and extracurricular records should be strong.

- The applicant must have finished a minimum of two prior internships with a lawyer, legal firm, or court, lasting at least 30 days or 4 weeks each.
Duration of Internship
The internship must last a minimum of 04 (four) weeks. Depending on how well they do, the Law Intern may request a written extension for a maximum of six weeks.

Application process for Judicial internship at Allahabad High Court:
- Candidates may only submit their applications online.
- Applications may be submitted up to three (3) months prior to the anticipated start date of the internship.
- The applicant must provide the following files with their online application: the marksheet for each semester or term of the first three
- Years of the five-year law program they intend to pursue.
- A forwarding letter from the head of department, dean, director, or registrar of the college, university, or law school, as applicable,
- Stating the proposed internship period, the area or subject of interest, and the official email address of the issuing authority where verification can be requested.
- certificates of prior internship experience, if any, along with the official email address of the organization providing the certification, if any.
- Present student identity card, provided by the law school, college, or university, bearing the official email address of the issuing body.
- An candidate will receive a unique Application ID once their application has been successfully submitted. It can be mentioned in any correspondence that comes after.
- Only “Video Conferencing” interviews may be conducted with shortlisted candidates, contingent upon proper document verification.
- The start date of the internship will be communicated to the shortlisted applicant approximately one month prior to the start date.
- Applicants who are not selected for further consideration will be notified as soon as possible.
