About  The  Opportunity

The Office of Justice K.V. Viswanathan, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is accepting applications for physical, full-time internships on a rolling basis for September 2024 – May 2025. This one-month internship, extendable based on performance and availability, offers immersive learning opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Undergraduate law students (2nd year or above in 3-year program, 3rd year or above in 5-year program)
2) Postgraduate law students

Internship Responsibilities [Non-exhaustive List]

1) Prepare briefs summarizing case facts, legal arguments, and relevant case law.
2) Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memos and opinions.
3) Attend court proceedings and meetings, taking detailed minutes.

Interns are expected to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times, ensuring that all information obtained during the internship is handled with the utmost discretion and that their conduct consistently reflects the integrity and excellence required by the office.
