About the Opportunity
Department of Law, Vivekananda Global University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor of Law. The successful candidate will join our dynamic faculty team in delivering high-quality education and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of law.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in law, including but not limited to areas such as constitutional law, criminal law, corporate law, international law, etc.
- Develop and update course curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with current legal trends and developments.
- Conduct research in the field of law, leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, and other scholarly outputs.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students in their research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, fostering their intellectual and professional growth.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) from a recognized institution.
- NET (National Eligibility Test) qualification in Law.
- Ph.D. in Law or actively pursuing a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, evidenced by teaching evaluations, course development, and instructional innovation.
- Strong research record or potential, with publications in reputed journals or ongoing research projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Dual qualification with both NET and Ph.D. in Law.
