Applications for full-time, in-person internships with Justice K.V. Viswanathan, a Judge of the Supreme Court of India, are being accepted on a rolling basis from January 2024 to May 2025.
Eligibility
- Law students enrolled in undergraduate programs (2nd year or above in 3 year programs, 3rd year or above in 5 year programs)
- Law students pursuing postgraduate degrees
Responsibilities [Non-exhaustive List]
- Prepare briefs that provide an overview of the case’s facts, arguments, and pertinent case law.
- Perform thorough legal research and write opinions and memoranda.
- Attend meetings and judicial procedures while taking thorough minutes.
In order to ensure that all information acquired during the internship is handled with the utmost discretion and that their behavior consistently reflects the integrity and excellence required by the office, interns are expected to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Applications should ideally be submitted five weeks before the planned start of the internship, as they will be accepted and considered on a rolling basis..
Selection Process
Candidates will be interviewed over the phone or online. Confirmations will be sent out two to four weeks before the internship begins.
Orientation: To guarantee that they are well equipped for their duties, interns will attend an orientation session at the beginning of their internship that covers key procedures, tools, and policies. They will also receive the required templates and protocols.
